Just bought a set of cheap alloys off a golf 4motion for use as winter wheels on my L&k 57 plate Octavia estate, only to find that they will not fit.

It seems that the Golf wheels are 5 x 100 and my Octavia is 5 x 112.

I was under the impression (from the nice wheels website) that Octavias were the same pcd as golfs.

Does anyone know if earlier Octavias were 5x100 and when they changed to 5x112 or is it a foible of the L&K version

As far as I'm aware mk1 octy was 5x100. mk2 octy 5x112.
