ICE in Skoda Fun

Featured Replies

Need to get some decent speakers in my pickup now. now its back on the road. i was thinking of a pair of components in door panels but they would need to be amped to get the best out of them. but i have no idea where you could hide the amp, the only place i can think of is the glovebox in the back but it will most likely get wet if it rains.

i would like a sub in it but theres no space to put the thing lol.

has anyone manage to install a amp in their fun?

How about hiding the amp under the passenger seat?

I have an amp but it's not installed yet.

Under the passenger seat is not the best place as it's exposed to people treading on it when they get in and out of the back. Under the driver's seat is a better idea, unless you're fitting a Blaupunkt THb 200A subwoofer. ;-)

You could mod the glovebox, or use the space under the bonnet in front of the driver, where the speedo cable comes through. It's well vented and there's a flat space to put it on.

With a bit of effort and a coathanger, you can run cable into the back and have speakers mouted in/on the access panels. I did mine in about 30 mins, to both panels. Will get some 6x9s cut in at some point. :-)
