Hi everyone im new to the site, well not quite. I joined a couple of years ago, never used the site and then completely forgot about Briskoda. Embarased for doing such a thing so i appologise to all concerned.

Since then i have purchased a second Octavia, a 58 reg VRS tdi and love it very much. I replaced my Jag s type 3.0 with it and find its very comparable in terms of performance.

I still have my old 02 plate L & K 110 tdi estate which i think is a smoother and easier car to drive. Its not as quick as the vrs even though i have tuning box ( cheapo ) from e**y. I think the box made need replacing as the engine management light was coming on during the cold weather and would only go off if i turned the power setting down on the side of the box. Anybody had this problem? Only permanent problem i find with this car is that the leather used in the centre of the seats is a bit hard and plasticy, the drivers seat isnt of the best condition and would love to know if theres any way of an off the shelf replacement cover or somebody who does repairs or replacement panels for these.
