Does anyone know if the standard boot autochanger can be used with any other aftermarket headunit as the standard one is a bit poor.

As a general rule - nope.

The actual standard HU is not that bad, but the speakers are. Might be worth upgrading them first. It is also said that disconnecting the rear tweeters helps a lot as well.

Fanbelt squealing 2.0tdi, is tensioner spring broke?

I just put a new Alternator clutch on my2.0tdi CFFB but the new belt is squealing. The tensioner was new a year ago, but doesnt seem to have the tension needed all the time. It can feel loose, or feel ok but starts squealing . When you move the tensioner bolt, it feels like it is catching and needs pushing back into position. Is something broken? Is there an easy fix or do I just put a new tensioner in? (I know how difficult it is to do)

looking to see if i can get suggestions on how to "activate" by retrofitted SLA headlights. essentially i'm getting an "cornering light (AFS)" error, meaning the high beam fancy masking/patterns (rollers) aren't working, let alone the shutters (HBA on/off). vcds autoscans show 2 faults in module 4B, saying the controllers are "Not coded". it looks like we need to upload (via ODIS/VCP) some parameters to the 4B module, telling it's now got SLA and how to use it. not sur

Hi guys new to the forum so hello I have a problem with my boot when I unlock the vehicle the boot will not unlock. but when I push the middle button ie boot unlock icon the boot will unlock. I have tested the switch and it is fine has anyone else had the same problem at all.... Regards Dan.
