Nathans build thread

Featured Replies

I bought my 2006 Skoda Fabia VRS in August of last year. Having joined Briskoda just before it arrived i looked around and saw everyone's modifications and decided that i was going to start a little project of my own. Between August and now i have made the following mods:

Pioneer aftermarket head unit £120

Octavia spiders £280

Refurb and powder coated alloys Gloss black £90

Lowered 25mm on Eibach lowering springs £100

Cambelt and Water pump + tensioners changed £250

Partially de-badged

LCR splitter £27

Widemouthed and colour coded £150

I have big plans for my fabia in the future so its a bit of a work in progress :giggle: So heres a breakdown of my plans for the future:

Appearance

Retro black on silver badges for the front and rear, vrs badges for wheels and steering wheel (Sat in house)

Window tint

Calipers painted red

Handling/Suspension

Whiteline rear anti roll bar

Seat rear bushes

Powerflex front bushes

Ibiza upper strut brace

Air Delivery

K&N panel filter(going on as i write this)

Pipercross induction kit

Pd160 intake

Braking

Slotted discs

Dot 5.1 Brake fluid change

and then finally i will work on performance :p by the time ive done all that my insurance will have hopefully come down a bit :giggle: :

Performance

Re-Map

FMIC

Sachs Clutch

Then when all of that is complete i think a full respray will be in order to cover up all the scratches/chips left by the mountain biking enthusiast former owner :dull: may be brave and go for a completely new colour.

Any feedback much appreciated

Looks good, any pics of the leather? Standard or Seat Surgeons?

It could do with lowering more defo, springs do buggar all unless you get 50mm + with new shocks.

No a fan of the wide mouth and red brake idea but hey ho.

Good job
