Going along the motorway when the car over taking me swerves (obviously seen something) so therefore I have to swerve too. Only problem is there are road work so I go straight into a few cones, scratching my bumper and wheel arches!! Also burst my tyre!!!

So I have a few questions......is it easy to do a touch up job of the (minor) scuffs/scratches I have? Also, what tyre should I get as a replacent bearing in mind I'm on a bit of a budget?

I'd get someone like Chips Away to look at your car, not worth bodging it on a new car.

Are they a national firm? Is it likely to be expensive?

If it's new, why not put the spare tyre on and get the cheapest tyre (even used) temporarily for the spare wheel until you can get one to match.

Yours probably would have Continentals on it, 205/45 16 W.

Every scrape is different, so it's difficult to give you a ballpark. They give free estimates, so wouldn't be a problem.

For tyres, check My Tyres. I then got National Tyres to pricematch, plus the fitting charge. Potentially a big saving to be made there.
