Rear Camber Values

Due to a number of complaints regarding rear tyre noise and wear on Octavia A5 vehicles, the rear camber values can be changed to the following settings -

Old values are: -1°45' ± 30'

New values are: -1°20' ± 30'

This information applies to Standard and Sport suspension.

Given all that has been written over recent months relating to tyre wear, does anybody know what figures are recommended by Skoda themselves.

Yeah. -1°20' ± 30' is still the spec from skoda.

I run -2°15' now.

i would say the old values will give better handling and the revised settings will give better tyre wear , take your pick depending on what you want. this is just my opinion and might be rubbish but its how i see it!!!!!!!!!!!

Only clue I can give to this is that on the printout from my full geometry check it marks the vehicle as:

SKODA 2009, Octavia 2 (1Z), Sports Chassis (2UC)

Mine is a hatch; not sure if the above codes are specific to a hatch only.
