And on summer tyres too.:giggle: A fairly normal day out round here last winter.

Just goes to show how SUPREMELY capable and adept the Yeti really is as a 4x4.

I would have liked to have seen an Audi Q7, BMW X1, and a Mercedes M class attempt that., and I also bet the Yeti would thrash every one of them :giggle:

Come on then, how did you work that one out??

+1

Judging from the registration number it is not a UK car and thus the chance is high it will have winter tyres on in a country with that much snow.

And was that descent done just with the Off Road button? Surely the off road button does not pause that long between applying and letting go of the brakes?

Terrible echo in here!!

Hi,

That video came obviously from Russia with love. They seem to have a vivid Yeti forum there too. Many threads, anyway.

And it's not the only one. I follow two forums in Germany, in Sweden one - lazy writers there, not very informative - and our own in Finland.

I do not speak Russian, nor French, so these are not under continuos surveillance, but Briskoda is my second favorite.

I'm having my Yeti in about two weeks, fingers crossed, it was made February 22., and I get it with that kind of studded winter tyres you saw in than video. It is 1.8 TSI 4X4 Experience, something like that was in that video too.

Just a wind up!?!?! The thing was probably fitted with 2" studded tyres for all I know. As for the snow - didn't you get the vast snowdrifts from the North??

Just returned from Oswestry. Took the direct route from Bala over the Berwyn Mountains and back. What a brilliant ride and the views were fantastic. The Yeti should be named after a mountain goat not a lumbering snowman.
