Fancy keys

Featured Replies

Since I've been forced into driving a Golf about for the last few days, it got me to wondering...

The Golf has got one of those fancy keys - the ones that flick out of the housing.

Is there a way to buy one over the internet and stick the components of my current Furby keys into a fancy key? Is it possible?

Don't know, but mine came with the flick key as standard, as you have to have the central locking and alarm as standard, as this is the transponder unit that hides in the block part of the flick key! The actual key can be removed from the main part of the flick block by removing a small split dowel. So wether your key could be fitted to a flick block i don't know!! Keep hunting

It would add absolutely nothing to the car, but the flick keys are just fancy. I feel jealous with my bogstandard ones.

lol I have four - two for the vw van and two for the vRS :)
