Hi Guys,

Decided to fit remote locking on my 2004 car.

Its a pain to get at the door lock as the inner door card seems to be 'pop-riveted' on !

Thought i would tap into the lock/unlock switch on the centre console beside the ciggy lighter.

On checking the wiring at the back of the switch there are 4 wires.

white with yellow stripe

brown with green stripe

blue

brown.

I left my multimeter at work (doh) :-(

Anyone able to tell me which wire does what ??

I see no one has replied, but I would be interested in doing this to my 2007 (Jan) Octavia Classic 1.9pd TDI.
