Fabia Vrs headlight bulbs

Featured Replies

Hi all im getting a new vrs soon in silver with black roof, it has the led fog lamps, but i want to upgrade the headlight bulbs with something similar to match the fogs.. What bulbs do you reccommend and would i replace the dipped and main beam with the upgraded bulbs?

Cheers

I did both dipped and main with Phillips XtremePower, big difference.

The original bulbs are crap.

Both dipped and main are H7, easy enough job to do, pull off the rubber grommet at the rear of the headlight and twist the bayonet lugs anti-clockwise.

Do a search too mate, quite a few threads already on this emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Ah im a mechanic myself just wondering what ones people have tried and which look best with the led foglamps:) Cheers for that!

I've gone for some mtec bulbs. There not bad for price and a good match for the DRLs.

They are a lot whiter than the stock bulbs, and don't look so ridiculously white that they look like fake HIDs.

Oh, they chuck a lot of useable light down too :)

Thanks if anyone else has pics feel free to throw them up:)

Has anyone considered/tried the Philips Blue Vision bulbs? This review on youtube briefly shows the DRL's on in completely darkness and they have a very faint blue tinge like the above mentioned bulbs. Its at 1:20s.
