2008 Skoda Octavia vRS TFSI Race Blue FA57 VRS

Cheers Mark - very sad to see the car go; as i have said to many people - simply the best car i have owned to date.

Its tempting to move to the FL vRS with DSG; but going to try a Passat R36 for a while and see how it goes.

If you have a look on eBay.de; the Germans offer a lot of chrome upgrades for VW/Skoda models - plenty of choice.

Member on here "gulfstream11" did a group buy on the vRS seat inserts and foot rest; but must have been 2 years since.

Sometimes they appear on eBay, or SuperSkoda do a version too - but not cheap.

Glad you like some of the mods and hope you enjoy your TFSI vRS as much as i have mine.....

Any other detail or info required - just let me know...

Awesome car and so well looked after to.

If I had the money, I'd buy straight away.

Well - after a glorious weekends weather - the vRS is looking great and ready for the new owner.

Detailed by myself and my best mate Kenlad; after 8 hours we had the results we wanted.

Car was snow foamed and washed Friday night and cleaned inside - hoovered, wipe down

with APC and Meguiars slide-lock brush. Finished off with Chemical Guys New Car scent.

Saturday early start and quick snowfoam wash, rinse and Last touch dry; Alloys de-tarred.

Clayed with Bilt Hamber but not sure on this - might go back to Meguiars Quik clay.

Poorboys Black hole show glaze, followed by Poorboys EX-P sealant on top.

Car looked pretty good at this point - so just added top coat of Collinite 476S Doublecoat wax.

I must admist 476S takes some effort when buffing off, but you see why it is extra durable for 12 months+!!!!

Alloys were done with AG-SRP bringing out a good sparkle, then sealed with Poorboys Wheel sealant and they look great in the bright sunlight. B)

Chrome badges and exhaust bits done with Autosol and polished up beautifully.

Windows done with Rain-X on the exterior and engine bay cleaned with Megs APC.

All-in-All....very glad to see the car tip-top and hope the sale goes through this week.

No matter if i sell it or keep her for the summer - the car is looking great!!

Looking forward to another detailing weekend on my new motor.....soon hopefully!

Summary:-

=========

Looking for a new car in 2011, after almost 3 years ownership. Have been offered exceptionally good trade-ins based on returning to factory specification or modified, but would prefer to see my cherished pride & joy go to another dedicated owner through the forum if at all possible; so will make it available for viewing and sensible offers.

As with all Briskoda members and their cars – this great car has wanted for nothing and has been well looked after.

Comes with a full folder of history with everything from initial showroom brochure and separate vRS supplement, dealer quotes to buy, details on every tank of fuel, when mods were added, etc, etc. Always run on V-power or Ultimate unleaded, unless really stuck for fuel stops. Car drives, handles, performs 100%.

I have been completely honest with my summary of this wonderful car, its current condition and all the modifications that i have fitted – which therefore takes us to the price:-

Private Plate: FA57 VRS (not included - open to separate offers on this obviously)

Vehicle Prices..................FINAL REDUCTION 14th April 2011

Current modified spec: £11,000 (all add-ons plus original parts too)

Back to standard spec: £10,500

Feel free to PM me with any questions, queries, viewing requests, etc.

Test drives available with me in the hot seat; unless full insurance certificate produced.

Thanks for your interest - let me know if i have missed anything. :)

Not much, 4 new tyres, Falken FK452s, had a puncture on the rear beyond repair, fronts were low too, so just replaced all four with a matching set.

Got the Maxidot coded in too, it has a compass on there, which I never knew.

Cool - yes, i knew it was a recode required on the Maxidot and all would be fine.

New maps would be good too of course.

Rear tyres were originals anyway - so nothing lost there.

Still miss the VRS in many ways - such a great car!!!
