Looking at an exhaust for my PD130 anyone got any experiences with them, mainly un resonanted, want a bit of sound but not to much!

Yeah thought as much, wasnt too sure never really looked and was a bid confused with the non and the resonanted they sell for the diesel!!!

Pretty sure it's the same as the petrol that's why I think.

Diesels may only have one silencer box that's described as such, but the cat is also a baffle silencer, and the turbo acts as a silencer by taking (otherwise wasted) energy out of the exhaust gas too. I once had an exhaust break on the cat outlet, and there was no difference to the idle noise from 5 feet away.

yeah i understand that, had a few turbo charged cars in the past and i know some guys on here have just fitted, "a pipe" from the turbo staright out the back of the car as like you say it doesnt really need the boxes in it as the Turbo take away most of the energy in the exhaust gas anyway.

Just wanted to know what was the best system, in quaility, value for money and sound really?
