Just bought a Fabia VRS, it's high mileage but seems to drive well. So - engine re-map is on the way via celtic tuning.

How do I fix the handling with out spending a fortune. I'm thinking some Eibach springs and uprating the brakes. EBC ultimax seem to be a decent-ish low cost option. Can any one give me better advice?

Welcome to Briskoda, Eibach Springs would be a good option.

Have you considered a Anti Roll Bar and Strut Brace as well as they do transform the handling of the car as well.

Infotainment system switches itself on

Hi, It happened twice now that I walked past my parked and locked Mk IV Octavia and I noticed that the infotainment system was on and the radio playing. Anyone had this before? Both times it was on a sunny day, so quite warm inside the car. Is there any way so that the infotainment system can only be switched on with a key present? Car is from Sep 2020 with 1941 software version. Thanks, Peter

Skoda Octavia Mk 3 2.0 TDI 150, 2016, Mileage: 270 K km. My Skoda has been making some strange shakings since February. Around the time the engine heat hits 90 degrees, which is normal running temperature, the car shakes harshly, sometimes smoothly, sometimes just once, sometimes 2 or 3, or more, with irregular laps in the following 1 or 2 minutes. Hi everyone. First off, apologies if this has already been covered. I did take a look but couldn't find anything specific. For history, it's a 13 plate TDI vrs Octavia (MK2) was rattling like a good un' so replaced clutch and flywheel (and slave cylinder) did do a SMFW conversion too. Turns out, that WAS a problem, but the gearbox is also shot, so that's on my list to replace next. Started and drove home fine that night. Next day, I drove it to work (about 20 minutes) no problems. Hi all, Skoda Kodiak 4x4 AWD, and Skoda Kodiak front wheel drive....what codes or description spec's etc. differentiate between them ? My problem is that while my newest purchase of a 2020 Skoda Kodiak , 150 HP and Front wheel drive, is a delight in every way, my car insurance has gone through the roof, and when I queried it, I was informed that one of then reasons for the increase (more than.€200) is that its a 4x4 AWD.
