Fabia 1.2

Featured Replies

Oh well, I was going to go for an octy vRS but to be quite honest none of the colours did it for me:

Black = shows muck and scratches

Silver = every rep and his dog

Red = allready drive a post office van

Yellow = C'ant thoil the depreciation

So have decided since the old Felicia was on its last legs to chop it for a 1.2 (64bhp :jawbig: ) Furby with plus pack :wow:

Method in madness: Actually quite nippy for town, comes with all the toys, can palm it off on the wife when new octy vRS estate arrives :hooray: in hopefully a wider colour choice.

A man with a plan!!! :D

What do you get in the 'plus pack'? Is it something to do with the Furby promotion on at the moment? IIRC my local dealer is doing them for

With HiD approval we opted for Dynamic Blue

Nuff said. Membership of the select Dynamic Blue Club is in the post. ;)

Plus Pack gives the car electric front windows and remote locking, taking it nealrly to Comfort specification minust the interior enchancments. I had a Saloon with the plus pack.

Loved the 1.2 HTP I had as a loan car, but my mum's too much of a boy racer so I had to get the parents a 2.0.

I reckon stone grey (lets face it, silver blue) suits the Fabia really well.

for an extra

For an extra 5k I could have got a vRS

Originally I wasn't bothered about + pack but decided on central locking to save scratch marks, never really thought to price up ambiente spec doh.

Or I could say:- seriously how often do you use electric mirrors, front fogs.

Think they actually come with trip computer, certainly the car I tested did (suprised me)

Wider tyres = more expense + greater rolling resistance ( want all the performance I can from my 64bhp!)

trim not bad + might try to get a set of seats out of a vRS from scrappers, with all these you go faster types keep rolling oooooooooooooooops.

Mind you if the new furby wrc materialises then I won,t be waiting for the octyvRs and this will get chopped quicker than Anne Bolyns head.

For some reason if you get air con you get the trip computer.IIRC when we bought our first fabia 3 yrs ago.1.4 classic and the only options we chose were black paint, alloys and air con .

Seems odd the trip comp and air con being connected  but we weren't complaining!A very useful gizmo.

Enjoy the car! :)

If thats the case, the classic is indeed very good value!

Best part of the car? Got to be the engine note - sounds like a baby 911 :D

Just got phone call from dealer, can't source a car for 1/3 reg in colour spec, so upgraded to ambiente and then still couldn't find a blue one! So have taken a red one instead (doh see first post) mind you upgrade only cost me

Have to say I use the electric mirrors loads, very useful for on-street parking alignment. And the heater elements are great in winter, even if it's just wet.
