Is there anyway to get Columbus to default to Nav (ie map) rather than Radio when it powers on?

I would like to know this too, my map button is getting shiny!

The MFD in the Bora stays on map when you power off and on.

not found this option yet either.....

If it is on map when you turn he car off, it comes up on map next time you start the car. Same with all the other selected screens.

It will only do this if the car is left for short periods return after say an overnight stop and it will be back on radio.

The same question has been asked on many VAG related forums and the general result has been that it cannot be altered and will always go back to radio after the unit has entered full power down (about 15 mins after key removed); The reason being from a cold boot, the radio is the first piece of software to load because its fastest. If you were to have the map as default, then you would have to wait a while before anything happened on the radio. Try it and see what I mean, Do this quickly, first thing in the morning unlock your car, quickly get in and turn on your columbus. Now hit the map button, and you'll see the message "Navigation startup, please wait..." and this message could be on the screen for anything up to 1 minute.
