FL head lamp tint film

Featured Replies

I recall a thread where someone had got some head lamp tints and I liked the look. Anyone know where I can get these?

Laminex I think the film is called

Almost - Lamin-x - :giggle:

I tinted my DRL's with smoke tint, they still look almost the same as before, with the subtle tint iirc the light output is unchanged.

From reading their website, the light output is reduced, not by much but it is reduced. If you notice the amount of topics on here dedicated to which bulbs are the best and how good HID's are, I just can't get my head around putting tinting film on my lights unless its never going to be driven in the dark or poor visibility.

Having said all of that.............it does look brilliant.

I would agree the light output is affected with the smoke tint, but the guys who have the subtle on head/rear lights have said there is no difference. I slapped it across my retro fit DRL's and when off they blend into the bumper, but they are still 80% effective when on.

That works well Lee I like that, you have to look closely for the DRLs when they're off

Thats a great job you've done with the DRL's it looks well.

As said, I haven't noticed any loss of light on mine, but incidentally it looks like the subtle tint is either out of stock or taken off the market?? :wonder: :S

But gunsmoked is still available?? :o
