i'm a bit early cos i haven't got my skoda yet, but hopefully it'll be here within the next month

i've signed up to this 25% off a new Octavia deal, i'm getting an Octavia 1.6 MPi in Aqua Blue

i've wanted a skoda for a while, my father in law has a very nice Octavia Elegance 1.9 diesel which he's had since new on an 05 plate and is a lovely car

i'm under no illusions that mine will be as nice as his, with a basic powerplant and not as much kit, but it was my best chance of getting on the ladder and a brand new car to boot, hopefully in three years time i'll be trading up to a better spec, but this one will do me nicely for now

the car i've been driving for the last 4 years and about to trade in is a '53' reg Renault Scenic 1.9dci privilege, so going back to petrol and less power will take getting used to, but i don't cover half and many miles as i did when i first bought the renault anyway, so it wasn't cost effective for me to have a diesel
