Replacing EGR

Featured Replies

Right, my EGR valve has been ****ing oil since I got the car, and it's starting to annoy me now. I know people will say go the delete route, but I've already decided I'd rather stick OEM thanks.

How easy a DIY job is it to replace? It looks pretty straight forward as it's on the top of the engine. I assume it can all be done without jacking the car up? Any fiddly bolts?

Gonna get this:

What else is needed? Any special tools, replacement gaskets etc?

Thanks,

Andrew

simple enough if your mechanically minded...3 bolts ...no gasket as rubber o ring seals it.
