My new brakes will soon be winging their way to me here in the colonies and I think the car deserves some new braided brake lines to go with them.

I'll be painting the Brembos green for that OEM-ish look.

So what colour lines would look best?

My suspension is red and blue so I'm thinking red

What do you reckon?

Err the cheapest option as you can't really see them?? :giggle:

They're all the same price :p

Think Black in your case due to the red clashing with the green, not matching the red on the car, same with the green. Not too sure about the silver as i think it's a smooth plasic coloured covering unless i'm mistaken?? They don't look as good as the proper braided ones.

The silver is transparent coating showing the silver braid :)

Wouldn't it go cloudy over time like clear plastic usually does?? To me it doesn't look like a proper braided hose, Had a set on my capri and it looked alot better than that.

Know what i mean m8?? I'm crap at explaining things lol

Yeah I wondered that. It's braided with a plastic protective coating over the braid.

Ooo the carbon one looks interesting! Different but not as obvious at first glance as the others.

black mate

plain and simples. post some pics of the brakes too when they all green as thats my plan too

the lines are not needed ie. they dont need to stand out, only things that need to be seen is the disk and calliper and the rims. makeing the lines a fancy colour wil divert attention from the above.

just my thought

Rob, you're such a tart!

...

But I think green so it matches the calipers. B) Keep all the brake parts the same colour :giggle:

Unless it's a different shade of green, then go for red.

But if it's a different shade of red then he should go carbon :giggle:

Silver for me at least you can see them when you have a look under the car. Never had any problems with them going cloudy.

Red, that way when you get a set of cupra brembos everything will match nicely with the colour of the car :D

My Cupra R Brembos will be painted Skoda green :D

skoda green =

Black - I'm a bloke, and even I know green and red are just not a good mix. You're car's already red, so red brakes too much red.

Okay I'm leaning towards black now :)

Can't go for black lol, looks the same as OEM. No-one will be able to tell.

Why not try silver braided?

Don't fancy the carbon? Think it would look good and not very obvious

I would have thought Rob would want it to look obvious. B)
