Skoda Felicia 1998 1300cc gearbox breather ?

Does anyone know the location of the gearbox breather, if there is a breather, I have a problem with gearbox oil

dripping down from behind the speedo. Believe it may be due to internal pressure in the gearbox pushing oil up the speedo cable?

Very inconvenient and dangerous!! Slippy pedals are not a good thing.

Looked everywhere on the gearbox casing and can't see a sogn of a breather?

The 'box breathes internally.

I had to have mine replaced as it finally blew all the oil out and then tore the gears apart resulting in total failure. Personally I'd suggest getting it looked at properly as soon as possible, before it gets stupid expensive.
