Usually the north end of L'pool mate, Netherton area.

looks damm nice,

what do you use in the engine bay to get it so clean?

Yeah mate the rear can be de wipered, i have carryed this out on mine, i can't remember what size the gromet you have to get though hopefully someone will be along with a size if not ill measure it in the morning for you.

Ah, not far at all.

thanks guys

Yep very easy although the rear wiper does come in handy, as the car rear screen gets dirty quick because of the angle of the hatch. To do it first remove the wiper arm then remove plastic hatch cover, then remove wiring plug and washer jet tube from wiper asm and plug it to stop water coming out. Then undo the 3 x 10mm nuts remove wiper asm and plug with grommet.

Job done

25mm

The one thing I miss from that car was the handling emoticon-0106-crying.gif the grip went on and on! the new one is very good, don't get me wrong, its just there is something special about the mk1 vrs ;)

Hope your looking after the old girl, it was/is a dame good car.

Chris

I really wished I'd bought this when it came up on here. It's a really nice car mate

Grr, I hate seeing black octys with black grilles because I always want to do it to my car but worry that if I don't like it I can't get back the chrome lol.

Looking for a spare grille ATM.

Still, really nice mate. Like the engine bay, nice and neat.

Quick question to everbody reading...

As we can see this car has red pipework in a black bay.

Does anyone have green pipework in a black bay? I keep thinking about doing it myself but not sure how it will look.

I need that grille in my life! lol

Having driven a mark 2 and owning a mark 1 agree, There is something about an early octy thats get "under my skin". As cars get more refined and larger they always seem to lose something (unless its a VXR8 :giggle: (in my dreams))

Nice looking car and superclean engine bay.
