Noticed this on the demo car I've taken out.

Quite like the fact the needles are lit even when the dials aren't, when the dash goes into shade under a bridge they're glowing away softly.

This is called staging. Most if not all modern VAG group cars can do this if programmed with VCDS/VAG-COM. Only the vRS does this as standard as far as I know.

Yeah, I can activate this with VCDS - not sure how many of the newer VAG cars do this from the factory though?
