Superb II Clutch & Gear Selection

Hi

This is my first post on this forum, so please go easy ladies

I leased a Superb II 140TDI SE at the end of December, and I'm really impressed with the car! I do however have a slight issue with the clutch and gear selection.

I find the travel on the clutch pedal slightly course. Its hard to tell if its a gritty sensation, or if its rubber, rubbing against something. I also find the gear stick is a little notchy when selecting gears. Could the linkage need adjusting?

It not stopping me from using the car, but it would be nice to have a little advice before contacting the garage.
