I wonder if anyone could offer any advice on what upgrades i should purchase for the above car. Its bog standard at the moment and am looking to making some mods. I've heard that PD engines shouldn't be tuned due to the DPF?

What about Cold performance intake systems?

If you car is 2WD then you don't have a DPF to worry about.

Most remaps should give you an increase to 175-180hp

had my 2004 mk2 octavia remaped from 140 to 180 bhp, the guy was based in yorkshire. not had any problems with it.
