It is (probably) 1U2819448 01C, cost me £1.10 last March. I have two receipts from around the same time, the one above marked "cover" and the other receipt says "trim", but I think that the number above is the right one.

Thanks Trundlenut

I will try that one

I don't have much faith in the dealers myself, after a couple of parts I got priced up I have always ended up getting them from motor factors.

As an example I got front and rear oem discs and pads for my vrs for under £140 all in.

I spoke with a Skoda dealer and they said they would get back to me, I seem to recall £140 would not even pay for the front brakes. They then said that any non Skoda discs would not fit correctly and would warp and damage the car within 6 months!

My local Skoda dealer is extremely friendly, but completely hopeless at diagnosing anything that isn't immediately obvious. Every time I've been there I've come away feeling like they couldn't really be bothered doing a proper job.

TPS rules !

TPS rules !

If only they would serve me :'(

just make up a garage m b autos or something, i know there are a few tps centres want letterheads before they will serve people but i'll serve anyone to be fair

I might it a go.... the only snag is TPS is 35 miles away, so if they won't serve me I then have to go Skoda (in the same town), but wait 24 hours for the parts to be delivered (thus a second trip). If I know I can get served it would be great. Does TPS set up an account once you have been served so that after that I can just quote an account number or somesuch?

yeh if you want a cash account setting up, they will have a generic trade cash sale account though like we use for just general walk in customers. the problem with putting you on the system you'll end up with all the promotional leaflets ie oil promos etc landing through your letterbox
