Rear mud flaps

Featured Replies

Hi folks, I have a 2006 Octavia vRS hatchback. I was wandering if anybody knew if you can get mud flaps for the rear bumper?

I spoke to my local Skoda dealer and he seemed to think that they are not available for the vRS, unlike the standard Octavia.

If anyone has any advice on this I'd greatly welcome the help.

I need to sort somthing out soon, the stonechips are driving me livid! I just cant believe that they would fit them to the front and just forget about the rear? lol :wonder:

Cheers,

AJ :)

There are plenty of threads already covering this.

No special part for the vRS - but the standard mud flaps can be made to fit.

This simply requires a little soft heat application to make them pliable enough.

Some recommend use of a hair-drier to help mould the flaps; others have suggested

a bucket of hot water to soak them and and make then soft enough to shape.

Cheers mate, very helpful. Glad to know 'something' can be sorted, as is seemed pretty poor that they don't make ones specifically for that model?.. :wonder:

Oh well..

Thanks again,

AJ.

No worries - let us know how you get on.

Has anyone got any pics of this mod on the vrs? I'm thinking of doing this myself as they rear bumper by the wheel is taking k battering.
