hi all, my brothers car locks arn't working properly, the key turns and meets normal resistance but the doors stay locked, this has happened on both doors, his car is a fabia classic (yes i know wrong forum, but the guys in the fabia forum didn't know or didn't want to respond) no central locking and key is the same type as on my felicia (facelift). any thoughts are welcome as i'm due to take a look on sunday and could use some ideas to look for. i appreciate that i'm comendearing the forum but you guys are so much more helpful i thought it was worth a try.

i should imagine the best person to answer that would be Tech1e, it's been ages since i've owned a fabia so i don't remember much detail about them tbh
