Does anyone no where to get these plates made. Iv looked at loads of sites on the net but am yet to find one that offers a scaled down version of the original. Everywhere offers the square plates only. Not wanting anything ridiculous, maybe about 2/3 of the normal size!

Difficult to find as they'd not legal. The plate has set dimensions that need adhering to. That or a square plate that you tend to see on the back of 4x4s etc.

That said, they are available if you look on eBay.

Kinda agree, as i've got short (but legal) plates on mine.

Looks fine on the back, but not on the front due to the plate surround on the bumper.

Doesn't seem to mention the physical plate size now, so as long as the characters are the right font/size and distance apart, it's all good

Yeah, mine have the supplying shops name/Postcode etc on them too, albeit very very little

Im pretty sure you need at least 1cm of white space around the edge of the plate.

But legal plates arnt what they are looking for

As long as the spacing is correct and there is the right amount of gap around the edge, you can cut it down. I saw a 3 digit plate cut right down, looks pretty good, but was on a car with no recess for the plate so it would.

I have a short registration and wants a smaller one on the front but it would look odd - so I put a standard one on the front and a supersized one on the back completely filling the rear recess - makes it look better!
