Silver 02 Octavia VRS 215bhp

Featured Replies

Reluctantly I 'm putting my VRS up for sale.

It's been a great car, & I'm going to be very sad to see it go, but we have to go down to 1 car :'( . So the VRS, & our Bora 130 Sport are to be sold. Will be looking for an Audi A4 TDI Sport as a replacement.

The VRS has been troublefree & uber reliable in true VAG tradition. Bodywork & interior are in stunning condition. It has never had any paint repairs, & is filler free.

108 k 3 previous owners. 12 months MOT, taxed till end of May. Full Service History, 2 x working flip keys. Cambelt at 76k. 4 x Falken 452's. All the seats are in fabulous condition including the drivers seat, which had a new lower bolster last year.

The car is absolutely faultless with none of the usual problems that afflict these cars i.e. Central locking faults, boost leaks, dodgy dashboards, electric window regulators, worn suspension, worn drivers seat bolsters, etc. Engine is nicely run in now. Gearbox is tight & smooth.

Sailed through its MOT on Tuesday with one advisory for a rear tyre getting low so I just stuck 2 brand new Falken 452's on the rear on Wednesday. Recently had new front discs & pads, 2 Bilstein rear shocks, front wishbones, front anti roll bar bushes, Green Coolant Temp Sensor, Bosch Aerowipers NGK Platinum plugs.

ECU-Evolution stage 1 remap is smooth & progressive, not jerky or hesitant, & returns 32mpg combined, & low 40's on a run), Pioneer bluetooth HU & front speakers + iPod interface. Colour coded bumper strips.

I'd love the car to go to a Briskoda member who'd look after it & appreciate what a great car it is. Any inspection is welcomed, & feel free to PM me any questions. £2550 ono. Call or txt me on 07901731446.

I was hoping to avoid ebay, but the car is going on it tomorrow :'(

Another top poster due to move on. :S

By your posts and helpful guides the car is bound to be a cracker. Let's hope a deserving person buys it.

Good luck.

I'll be sticking around regardless as it's a good forum with plenty of friendly & knowledgeable members.

I'd rather keep the car than let it go for silly money.

I've had a bunch of VAG cars over the last 5 years, & except for the mkiv Golf Anniversary the VRS has been better than any of them.
