Bye bye VRS

Featured Replies

Gone!!!

Glad to see the back of it to be honest, it had the following faults in the 1 month I owned it:

Screeching brakes in reverse (very loud and embarrassing)

clicking faulty air recirc motor (very loud and annoying)

anti roll bar end missing

anti roll bar bush missing

groove in brake front brake disc (which means both front discs and pads needed replacement)

squeaking seat against arm rest

split engine breather pipe

bone crunchingly hard suspension... felt like i had damaged something every time i went over a bump

puncture in one tyre

massive fuel consumption

apart from that the turbo pulled very well and was very fun to drive, if you could ignore all the other faults. Glad to be shot of it.... now I can concentrate on the following three vehicles:

cbr 125r

gsxr 600

golf m5 gt 170

see you on another forum! BYE and thanks for all past help x

Why did you buy it a month ago with all these faults?

Why did you buy it a month ago with all these faults?

Funnily enough - the faults were not mentioned on the advert :wonder: , are not obvious faults to the eye/test drive and they are all common faults. None of these faults appeared on the test drive in fact. no noises, nothing.

Shame, could have been a really good car....

How can a missing ARB end link and bush be a common problem? That's not the cars fault, but whoever has pulled it off. :wonder:

And a knackered brake disc can happen on any car, it ain't specific to the vrs. Didn't you have a look when you bought it?

Good replacement vehicles though!

Go for the GRSR 600 :)

Well if that lot are not common faults on a vRS, a punctured tyre defo is! emoticon-0136-giggle.gif
