Featured Replies

hi there

does anyone know how i attach some photos of what i found whilst doing the wiring repairs to my skoda superb 2005 ellegance?

ive seen other photos and help, and id like to help the poor unfortunate's that will have this problem sooner or latter

best regards

Upload the pictures to somewhere like Photobucket and then when you compose your post, use the "Insert Image" button to link to them.

Get an account with Photobucket.com and upload your pics there, then if you hover over your Photobucket pic it gives you 4 options. Click on the last one 'IMG code', and it automatically copies the code. Then just paste the copied code into your post where required. Good luck :)

As a newbie Superb owner I'm interested in seeing these. I hope you sort all the problems out

i hope i did it correct,

as you can see the wires were knacked !!

the under lay holds an awful lot of water and took 1 week to drain out

the water will run in past the pollen housing past the useless seals

and fill up the inside of the car very secretively because it runs under the carpet

unless you note all the bits that stop working over a period of time you probably wont know until its to late,

and remember the wires are a straight forward repair

the useless rubber covers fall off easily as there aren't any wires connected to them!

bare the wires back a long way to get past the oxidized wires and solder then insulate

remember to make sure all the wires go to the correct place , dont mixem up !

and remember the convenience ecu that lives in the black box under the underlay is expensive so check this out straight away, there are horror stories of this ecu swimming in water, believe me

have you got problems???

a good clue is fogging up on the windows

or a sh@t load of circuits not working!

mines all done now

i now have stuff working i never knew i had !!
