RADIO FUSE BLOWN

Featured Replies

How do I go about replacing the fuse behind the radio?

I blew it whilst removing a hands-free kit that had been wired in behind the radio, somehow.

Take the radio out maybe ?

Halfords should have some removal keys if not then your local dealer will

I wasn't sure how the radio came out. Also a bracket has been attached ajacent to the tray below radio.

BTW- which part of Cumbria do you frequent? I live near Whitehaven,

Is it the fuse behind radio?

Try the fuse box (right hand side of dash, accessible when drivers door open, unclip panel, check number 45 fuse location. 20 amp fuse. Probably that has blown.

Ignore this double, my fault.

It turned out to be the fuse on the fuseboard, which I wouldn't have found had it not been for you guys - thanks. The only problem now is it's in SAFE mode. I haven't tried the radio after switching on the ignition, yet ( as described in the Owners Manual).

Thanks Funky Fab, worked a treat!
