Motion Locking

Featured Replies

Is this possible on the Superb? And if it is, is it something I can do or is it a dealer job? Thanks, Harry

Do you mean anti-hijack, where the doors lock when you reach 15mph?

If so then you need someone with VCDS or a dealer and yes it can be enabled on a Superb.

Do I need said same to disable? My new purchase has it enabled and it's frankly annoying, I don't live in some dodgey backwater and think the fact the doors won't unlock until the keys are removed from the ignition could be a danger in an accident!

Anyone in Fareham able to help?

I'm pretty sure you can do it through the stalk options, seem to remember considering activating it myself, it's in the handbook how 2 btw.

On the MKII it is possible to change it through the maxidot, but on my MKI it needed VCDS.

Lee, yes you also need it to disable it as well.

Yes it can be done the other way as well.

You don't need to remove the key for the door to open, simply pull the open lever twice instead of once and the door will open as normal. Also in the event of a crash the ECU will automatically unlock all the doors if locked.

I can activate / deactivate this for anyone coming to Castle Combe on Saturday.
