Hello. First post.

I have problems with my reverse lights on my 05 plate octavia.

When I put the headlights on and start the engine, the reverse lights come on also?

I have had a look through the site but can't find an answer.

It is driving me mad.

Any help would be great.

Do all the other lights work as expected? Sometimes lights can act weird when bulbs or fuses have blown. Otherwise you may be looking as something as simple as having a short in the rear light cluster (shorting from the rear sidelights to the reverse lights or something similar). Got a towbar or reversing sensors fitted? They may be causing shorts or issues.
