reasonably priced petrol yetis

Featured Replies

Couple of reasonable priced 2011 reg yeti appeared on market. Seems dealers think they have antique appeal, the older they are the higher the price.

Does anyone have experience on fuel consumption of the 1.4 TSI. Octovia forum varying from 32 to 40 average

thanks

dave

My yeti does around 28 or so round town, with lots of short journeys and stop start.

On a run I got 38 to 39 at around legal limit on motorway for 500 miles this weekend.I don't baby it at all. car has done 4000 ish now.

Might be for sale soon if you're interested. ;)

Thats amazingly similar to mine but mines a 1.8TSi 4x4!! :wonder:

I'll get 46-48mpg if I stick to a steady 60mph on a long run too!

Whats annoying is that my CR140DSG is no more economical.......emoticon-0106-crying.gif But it is an automatic, and I wouldn't drive anything else.

BTW the DSG was brilliant when off road on sunday, with most if not all the others stalling their manual cars at some point, Elsie and Johann's monster just kept on going......Auto is brilliant offroad.
