Vrs Rumbling/vibration from front

Featured Replies

Wonder if anyone has any ideas.

Track rod ends recently replaced as they had some play in them and since I have picked up a rumble/vibration on the front end at anything over 20mph.

Took it back in and it was checked, bearings fine, everything tight and in order so I am told but no better - if anything it's getting louder. The noise doesn't really get any louder with faster rotation.

No ideas what it could be but plan to take it back in again tomorrow as it's driving me up the wall.

No play in wheel and drives fine.

CV? One of the cv joints could be to blame.

If bearings are fine.

They are not cheap neither

Possibly but it's a constant rumble and is the same when driving straight or turning.

inner cv?

I am thinking Ive got same trouble after having a bearing done.

Frm my experience tho these cars are rattley and make noises randomly and its very hard to pinpoint them.

Hoping I can sort mine but hope the garage can sort you out. might be something and nothing
