how easy to fit a hybrid?

Featured Replies

how easy is it to fit a hybrid turbo to a vrs fabia? im working my way up to the 220bhp mark but want save a bit of cash by doing alot of the work myself. i am pritty handy with a spanner as i used to be a mechanic about 10 years ago, plenty of tools, its just the obvious of not having a ramp thats the problem.

its a pain in the arse same with a normal turbo, can be done on axle stands though, give yourself two days and you can have it off and back on, its not a hard job to do, just limited space and alot of working out what bolts you have not undone yet and what tools you need right length extensions etc. fabias vrs are a tad harder as its integrated in the manifold so its abit harder to wiggle out. Obviously if your done quite a few you could bash it out in a few hours.
