why green air filter?

Featured Replies

why does everyone on here seam to go for a green filter?? so many other brands but this is the only one everyone uses??

Only mods can use those :P

(no seriously they're like a K&N but the oil is supposedly lighter so less danger of MAF damage. People change to them from the standard paper ones because they breathe more freely)

i personaly have never liked k&n filters and i have seen problems with pipercross filters falling apart so green i have never seen problems with :)

I'm a lost sheep looking for its herd so thought as everyone is using them they must be good. Seriously though I had a green cotton induction kit on my old clio which made quite a difference so the logical choice was to stick with them. I got mine through this morning and fitted it and I'm not sure if there's any difference yet but apparently it shows properly when remapped so I'll wait and see.
