Hi All, Dads had a new engine fitted after the old one sized and it went with a bang and with stopping suddenly the airbag light is now on, I have VCDS (hex can usb)and the latest software, how do I reset the light considering that around that year there are problems with the airbag ECU. cheers - Stuart

If you have the latest, genuine version of VCDS there is no problem with the airbag ECU.

Read the airbag module and erase the fault codes. If you still have an airbag problem, then the fault and the light will return.
