Convenience Module

Featured Replies

hi, have had alot of strange problems on my fabia, various electrical things playing up now and again, was traced by local garage as being Convenience Module faulty, its been replaced, everything is working apart from now my boot switch wont work, and the wipers dont work on intermittant, which they did before. Does the new Convenience Module need to be programmed, its got the same part number on it, but funny how things that worked before the change now dont work. have spoke to a few people and getting different answers.

Thanks

Wipers are not controled by Conveniance ECU module, so wiring for them to wiper stalk (under dash) must of been disturbed!!!Not 100% certain but module might need programming to match the car as other electronic units on car do need this if a new one is fitted! Usually by someone with VAGCOM equipment.
