Want to get old of an old EGR valve and been watching on ebay but the part numbers seem to be slightly different.

Does anyone know if the last two letters on the part No make any difference ?

EGR fitted to my car = 038131501AB

Ebay EGR = 038131501T

Basically lots of different ones on ebay but they all seem to end with different letters, does it matter ?

i have a spare ASR EGR valve in my shed

no leaks low mileage and perfect condition

Ive got an old egr valve aswel sumwhere off my old 04 plate, pm me if u need it

Ideally I am after a faulty (i.e. cheap) one as I want to have a go at doing this:

I have a remap with the EGR disabled and as there is lots of talk about EGR being included in the MOT in future I thought stealth is the way to go.

Engine is ASZ (2005 VRS)
