what to buy 19.tdi or 2.0 cr

Featured Replies

I'm on the cusp of taking the plunge but I cant decide on which engine for the estate . I know the 1.9PD is old school but I dont know if the 2.0 CR is that much better that it warrants the considerable extra cost . I can get a 1.9 SE estate under a year old for more than 3k cheaper than the newer engine . thats a lot of fuel to gain if I'm only doing 15k a year for 3 years. Forgot to mention I'm talking about a Superb!

Any advice welcome

Oh and the skoda dealers so far have been way ahead of the VW (looked a golf estate ) who didnt know jack poo about the car , the Seat (exeo ST is a direct replacement for my A4) whose sales guy couldnt scrape himself off the wall the come and talk to me . The Skoda people seem genuinely interested and helpful, however they do seem keen to sell me a 1.8 petrol !
