If you look at the spare...Thats 15" too

Get some Fabia MK1 vRS alloys, fit straight on and can be used as winter wheels easily

Cheap option buy 4 mk4 Golf/Beetle steel wheels 6 1/2"J 16's, then go buy some NEW 185/50/R16 tyres .

The steelies are dirt cheap as no one wants steel even though they are lighter !

Hunt around now as dealers want to off-load their winter tyres, I got my Pirelli 210 Snows for £65 each delivered to the door.

Don't be tempted by the ebay offers on part worn as half the tyre wear has been used up (8mm tread depth new).

The 185/50 combo is the closest rolling circumference to the original vRS 17" using the wheel calculator I posted.

Hi mate where did you get the tyres at £65 from?

www.mytyres.co.uk sell sets of steel wheels and winter tryres, I bought a set for my Passat last November.

About £70 for a budget winter tyre on 15" Steel wheel upto £120 for something like a Nokian or Bridgestone
