fiddled around the air filter today as i discovered this mysterious loose wire... no idea where it does come from or lead to. can any of u guys help ?

Dunno about the wire but it looks like you might have a split pipe somewhere with all that oil in the last two pictures.

pipes are ok. no oil loss. let's say that the guy who owned it before me 'spilled' [if u can still call it spilling] oil all over the engine. didn't get to clean it yet, will be done in the next couple of days, maybe then i'll find out where that wire comes from
