mk1 front lower arms

Featured Replies

Hello

does any know if the front lower rear arms on my mk1 06 superb 2.0 tdi are the same as on the b5.5 passat? They look the same in the pictures I have seen but when looking on the internet there appears to be a difference of about £20 in price.

cheers

there are three different types of lower arm for the VW group the difference in two of them is at the ball joint end some VWs have a lighter ball joint while the skoda one tends to be the thicker one and if my memory serves me correct one type of arm may be slightly shorter so its best to check with a good auto factor before ordering and be carful of the make of arm you purchase as there is a lot of rubbish out there Fabi seem to be a good make

ok sounds good, have looked on a couple of sites now and the superb shows the same part number as the audi a4 and vw passat. On a side note does anyone know a good place to get decent ones?

cheers
