2005 FABIA VRS BLACK MAGIC NOW £5450

Featured Replies

PRICE REDUCED

Hi guys, finally got around to taking some pictures after taking advantage of the nice weather today and giving her a wash and wax. She's for sale as of now, ready to go asap due to unfortunate circumstances which i've already discussed on another thread :(

Black magic

2005 with 66k on the clock.

FSH 6 stamps in her service book and some receipts (as pictured)

3 owners from new (including me)

Xenons

Cruise control

Traction control

air conditioning

Colour coded black magic grille

Tinted rear windows

Pipercross air filter

Powerflex bushes

New cambelt, tensioners and waterpump

All doors resealed

Full service a month ago where she had her new cam belt, power flex bushes, pipercross panel filter, all doors sealed, all receipts kept as proof at a cost of over £700.

MOT and taxed until end of April 2011, I can tax and MOT her before the sale at extra cost to the buyer.

2 new tyres recently on the front, both rear tyres have 5mm so thousands & thousands of miles to go.

The interior is having a professional valet today so will be lovely & clean for the new owner.

She has a scratch on her bonnet which I had planned on getting resprayed. I have tried to capture it in a photo shown below. I have now been into a local body shop who have quoted £80 to touch the scratch up without the need for a full respray. I'm going to leave this decision up to the buyer to decide if and how they'd like to repair it. I have reflected this in the asking price.

This car is mechanically sound and absolutely ready to go. I'm located in Gloucestershire, not far from junction 13 or 14 of the M5. Thanks for looking

£5450

Pictures;

Looks like there is paint missing from the grille, there isn't that's just a light.

Yes she has xenons :) thank you for reminding me

i realy fancy this, but its slightly out of my price range

i can just about go to £5250 - £5300 if its mot'd

i gather that would be of no use to you?

I'd be taking a loss if I went as low as £5300 mate :( I could go £5450 as she is, you'd have to tax & MOT her at the end of the month once she's back with you. She's been driven less than 10 miles since having been fully serviced & all advisories having been taken care of (ball joint replaced & console bushes replaced with powerfkex. So there's no worries when it comes to an MOT. And I wouldn't have the bonnet scratch repaired. Plus that would help with a quick sale which ideally I'm after as I'm in debt with the parents :-/

That offer obviously goes out to everyone, if you'd like to buy the car quickly before she's tax'd, MOTd at the end of the month & before I've had the scratch repaired, I'd take £5450 cash on the day. Sunday evening would be good for us if anyones interested :)

i cant do that to be honest

painting the bonnet, taxing it and a mot is a good £250, so back up to near £5750

good luck with the sale though

good luck with the sale - looks nice.

more importantly let's have some pics of the lupo. did you get it fixed?

don't mean to divert your for sale thread or anything but in the process of pampering mine (new suspension, brakes, wheels , rear arb etc.). great little cars. have you tried club lupo for some assistance? as i said via PM if all else fails jodie at midland vw is your man.

You're right, the lupo gti is a great little car :) I've done lots of researched online including club lupo & we've tested everything I found it might be. I'm sure my auto electrician will find the cause when he gets back, he seems to know his stuff, we've been emailing :)

if anyone is interested in the furby I'll do my best to work around whenever you're free to come, most evenings are fine with us :)

Price now adjusted in advert

is the price still minus the tax and mot?

  • Author

Hiya mate, I'll stick the tax & mot on it for £5525. So that's £75 extra for 6 months tax & the 12months MOT which will cost me £120 approx. But that would be taxing & MOT 3 weeks early which seems a bit of a waste to me. Up to you, as much as I need the money asap, I don't wanna lose out dramatically.

apart from the scratch on the bonnet, what is the rest of the car like? is there any dents, marks, ripples anywhere else
