Hi all, I'm thinking about installing heated seat to my Fabia SE, just wondering if anyone has done this? if so how easy is it>?

Don't know really.... but having worked on various VAG cars they seem to install the wiring loom for the top model into every car (unless it's the most basic version!!).. but with out the bits added on.. so a sort of plug "N" play!! You might find that there is a "spare" connector under each seat, and part of the dash wiring may be in place!! But you would need to take the seat bases appart to fit the heater elements, and fit the switches in the dash (two required). And the fuse no. on the fuse box set aside for this is no.63 and a 15A fuse to fit!

i checked my blanks and there is no plug behind for heated seats. :(

Someone else on this forum has fitted them but I don't remember which thread, you'll have to do some searching.

Looks expensive, see below parts come to more than 150, a seat, don't know if you will need anything else

You will also need the loom for the switches and the switches themselves.

As said above there's every chance they have put the top of the range loom in and stuff like this just needs plugging in
