bi xenon adaptive Headlight adjustment for euopean driving

Featured Replies

I drive a 2010 Octavia VRS with the Bi xenon adaptive headlights and need to know how do you set them for driving in europe? Is there a switch hidden under the bonnet. I know you cannot stick the normal deflectors on the lens.

Hi mate - Welcome to Briskoda

With regards your query, why not have a look in the Octavia Mk II section....

Briskoda Oct MkII Forum

If your Octavia has the maxidot display, then you can select tourist mode in one of the menus, this makes the headlight beam flat. If you didn't pay extra for maxidot then you need to go and see your dealer and they can do it, but they will probably charge you.

A fellow member that has VCDS/Vagcom can also select tourist mode for you and will charge you less than your dealer.

The lights aren't Bi-xenon I'm afraid, the dipped beam is xenon and the full beam is halogen.

P.S. Welcome to the forum.

Hi and welcome aboard.
