Featured Replies

Hi

Trying to fit mp3 player but can't get stereo out! Tried cut wire coat hanger and for removal tool. Stuck solid. Is there a knack?

sometimes they are glued in at the factory so you have to be brutal with it to get it out..

I've often been called an ignorant brute and tend to use the 'tool, fine adjusting' whenever possible, lol

.....no, that's 'fustration' ;)

Right, the plastic housing is held in with 2 screws under the console. If your car doesn't have the old style extra console, you can get to these screws by lying upside down in the footwell and you should see 2 philips head screws. Unscrew those, and the whole lot should come out.

Ok mucker NP. I had the direct oposite of that. Some tool had fitted a unit slighlty smaller than the original Grundig, and it was rattling around and could be pulled out easily. I had to remove the black surround and turn it 180 degrees. Now fits like a glove :)
